Names and Registering

So I am in the process of thinking of some names and registering for things for the baby.  I am so overwhelmed on the stuff that is out there for baby and its giving me a headache!  Even just the essential things there seems to be like 500 options.  So if anyone has any advice on how to narrow it down or items they wish they would have asked for, it would be greatly appreciated.  I am doing it to give people an idea of some things I would like but I am sure some people can think of some other great things and I know she will need more things to grow into as well.

As far as names here are my top choices, I am not set on one and I figure that I will be her the right name when the time is right.  These are just first names, middle names will be another step!

Well that is all for now.  I am doing pretty good, moving a little slower.  And starting to feel her kick!  So with my growing belly I promise to gets some pics up here soon.

Time Flies

Man does time fly!  Yesterday I was 19 weeks and I had another ultrasound.  At the ultrasound they told me that my due date was moved up to May 27th, so that would make me 20 weeks.  Halfway there!  The ultrasound went well and I am proud to announce that I have a healthy baby girl!  Now while she was shy and wouldn't uncross her legs but a few times, they were able to capture her "girl parts".  She was very active with her legs, which looked very long, and layed with her hand up on her head behind her ears, which is how I sleep at night.  I had thought, for whatever reason, I was going to have a boy, so now its changing my mindset to a little girl.  Kind of exciting to have a "mini-me"!  While I will let her be a girl, she is going to love the color purple lol  I can't deal with all the girly pink stuff.  So now it is time to think of some names, which I have some in mind, but I am keeping my options open.  And now it makes my shopping a bit easier knowing I am shopping for a girl.

Family

So, some exciting news in the world of Marie. I am pregnant. Currently my due date is June 2, 2011. This was never how I expected my life to be, becoming a single mom, but with all the ups and downs I am excited to share this news with everyone. I know it won't be easy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Everything happens for a reason. I make mistakes but its how those mistakes are handled that shows your true character.
I intend on keeping this blog to keep those that are curious, updated throughout my pregnancy and then share the joys of my new little bundle. Family and friends have been so supportive throughout and I couldn't have made it this far without them. That is all for now! :)
