So I thought I would give everyone a quick update. It is getting so close, and let me tell you I am so ready. Well at least to not be pregnant anymore! These restless nights and achy body is getting kind of old. lol But other than that, I am doing well. Yesterday was Mother's Day and I got a few Happy Mother's Day wishes. And it really sunk in, here soon I will have my little one and I will be a mom. I just hope I can live up to all this potential that everyone sees in me. But I am so ready for her to be here and just to love her. No it wasn't what I planned but I wouldn't have it any other way. And in way she gives my life a little more meaning and sends me down a great path. So in about 24 days, or whenever she decides to come, this long journey will all make sense!
But in other news, I am officially Marie Ann Lackamp M. Ed., ATC! Yes I graduated today with my masters degree. After 6 years of college I can say I am done after 2 Bachelors and 1 Masters degree! Now it is time to find that big girl job in VA! It was always easy but in the end it will be worth it. Also I am in my last week at work at Fort Benning. I am going to miss the people but I am ready for something new. And not having to get up @ 2:30 am to go to work will be nice, although I am sure I will be getting up at all hours to take care of Miss Aubrey. So once I am done with work I am going to try and relax as much as I can before she comes :)
