Photo Shoot

So I went to the Dr. yesterday (26 weeks), and had an ultrasound.  Miss Aubrey is perfectly normal and healthy.  Has a very strong heart and is developing the way that she should and is right on track for her growth.  She still appears to have long legs, not quite sure where she is getting those from lol  It was amazing to see everything...from her little bones, heart, brain and her face!  Although she had her arm resting on her forehead so the face shots arent the greatest.  She also is laying right at my belly button and has her head at one end her butt at the other and then her legs wrap up and around so her feet come back to her head lol  So she enjoys being in a little ball and didn't move much from that position.  So here are a few pictures for me to share :)

Names

So the question most recently seems to be, what is her name going to be.  It is something that I think about a lot and I usually call her my "little one".  So after some great suggestions from people and constant searching on the internet, I always seem to come back to one name.  So I am about 95% sure, only thing that would change it would be if after she is born the name doesn't fit.  So here it is....

Aubrey Rae Lackamp

And one of the best parts is, I have no one to argue with me on this name! lol I just love the sound of it and I think her middle name is different. :)  So other than that I have been enjoying looking at clothes and stuff in stores and reading up on some things so I am prepared when she gets here.  Friends and family are in the process of planning my baby shower.  It is all becoming more real. I am also doing some physical therapy, which is strange for me because I am usually the one telling others what to do! I am hoping that this helps and I am able to be a little more active, even though I enjoy my naps. And I am growing and can't really hide it anymore like I have been able to previously lol So new pictures will be up soon to share this milestone.

As for Miss Aubrey, she seems to be a night owl like her mommy.  Like clockwork at night she likes to have a kicking fest, or what I like to call "dance party".  She also seems to be very active when I am at sporting events.  If she gets going you can see her kicks through my tummy, which is kind of exciting!  She also seems to be very stubborn and if I try to feel her kick by putting my hand down, she stops, and the minute I release my hand she starts right back up.  So from what I can tell she already has a personality of her own :)

February

Wow has time flown!  I can't believe it is already February.  Just hoping the rest of it goes this quickly.  Just a little over 17 weeks left!  So just got over being sick with some kind of flu/chest cold.  It definately was not fun, but I think it was my body's way of saying you need rest!  So I spent about five days in bed and finally went back to work yesterday.  Got some headaches going on now, so if its not one thing its another.  Went to the doctor yesterday and everything seems to be going well.  She is quite the wiggler as the nurse put it.  She would not hold still to get her heart rate.  She is getting stronger and her kicks are becoming more distinct.  I enjoy feeling her move except when it is late at night and she seems to be having a "dance party" in my belly.  She will definately be a night owl and is definately showing signs of being stubborn!

So for now it is getting things in order, plugging away at school at work, and getting plenty of rest.  I have an ultrasound in 3 weeks and I am sure I will have some more news to share!
